The ZakoPlaner is Out!

It’s beginning to look a lot like…Winter, for many this means visiting ‘home’ or simply anticipating the Winter vacation they’ve been waiting for in Poland!

The Winter season calls for many Polish-Canadians to return home to their ancestral land, this could mean visiting their highlander villages and family, taking in some skiing or hiking, enjoying newer attractions of big city living or immersing themselves in cultural highlander traditions. As The Polish Highlanders Association of Canada we certainly strive to keep these traditions alive, but there really is no place like home, or babcia’s cooking for that matter.
